About the Mahotsav
Reviving India's Knowledge Heritage
IKS Gyan Mahotsav 2025 was a landmark district-level educational initiative promoting Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), aligned with NEP 2020 and the vision of Viksit Maharashtra 2047. The Mahotsav aimed to revive India's rich knowledge heritage and integrate ancient wisdom with modern scientific approaches.
The event witnessed the presence of district officials, education officers, teachers, parents, and thousands of citizens. Extensive pre-event planning included school-level orientations, teacher training sessions, project guideline distribution, model verification rounds, and publicity campaigns — all coordinated with DIET and district authorities.
The event received wide coverage in leading publications including Lokmat and other regional newspapers, and was highlighted as a historic initiative for Wardha district. Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records officials personally verified and documented the event.
